WAYNE STATE  UNIVERSITY VISUAL MEDIA DREAMERS

Students like Jeremiah Green, currently the president of WSU’s Film & Media Club

Dream of the big break that will lead to public success and a career that is marked by accolades and public accomplishments. Success in the art and entertainment industry.

However, just one year ago on May 16, 2024, to be exact. WSU Communication Students sweep Las Vegas at the Broadcast Education Association Convention (BEA) in connection with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show. https://comm.wayne.edu/news/wayne-state-communication-students-win-big-in-vegas-at-broadcast-education-association-convention-62717

Students like Juliana Ashrifeh, Sophia Babbit, and Jacob Bloom represent a small pool of incredibly talented students in WSU’s Communication Department, and this win is a win for WSU’s Communications Department. To paraphrase Dr. Pradeep Sopory, chair of WSU’s Communications Department. I am incredibly pleased that our film students and faculty have accomplished this very public success. WSU is an R1 Carnegie-endorsed research university in Detroit, Michigan.
