This story begins with the professionals. Edward Tony Green, who has worked as a music director for artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, along with his business partner Jackie Wallace, states that both she and her partner T Money Green, affectionately known, excel in making the impossible possible. We met with Green and Wallace at the Detroit Vinyl Festival on September 5th, 2025.
Wallace, a graduate of the WSU Business School, which is currently referred to as the Mike Ilitch School of Business at WSU. Wallace, a strong supporter of education, shares her invaluable expertise with students such as Ashely Ortiz, who is currently the president of the student chapter of PRSSA at WSU, which stands for the Public Relations Society of America.
Other students in the WSU Communications Department include Cash Clay, a second-year communications student concentrating on debate and other communication-related subjects. A significant moment and dream that materialized for DeShean M. McClinton, a senior in the WSU Broadcast Journalism Program, occurred over the summer when McClinton had the unique opportunity to meet Jeffery Seller, an Oak Park, MI native and producer of the Broadway plays Rent and Hamilton, during the launch of his new book and personal memoir, Theater Kid, which received rave reviews at the JCC, now known as the J, in West Bloomfield, MI, during the Detroit Jewish Film Festival.
McClinton attended as a guest of the festival patrons alongside Dr. Ralph and Mendi Green. Sellers stated that his book, Theater Kid, serves as a form of self-therapy that he had resisted for a long time. Theater Kid narrates his choices and dreams, as well as the reasons behind his career path. Jeff Seller is a prime example that dreams once thought impossible can indeed come true; as Jackie Wallace puts it, if you remain committed to your efforts, you will shine. ( Written by DeShean M.
